Hi, I’m Zac. I started my career as an accounting major at Temple University. After graduation, I fell in love with the systems and processes side of business and spent six years as a software engineer. I started Lancaster Bookkeeping to combine my passion for business and efficient systems. I believe clean books are the foundation of strategic business decisions.
Other than business, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two kids, building software, reading, bow hunting, cooking, and gardening.
Yes. We only work in QuickBooks Online, and I’m a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. I can help you set it up or migrate if necessary.
Yes. I can catch up months or years of bookkeeping, then we move to monthly once you’re current. Your tax preparer gets financials they can file.
I don’t run payroll myself, but I make sure it’s right in your books. Whether you use QuickBooks Payroll, Gusto, ADP, Paychex or your CPA, I record every payroll in QuickBooks and reconcile it each month.
Yes. You work directly with me.
First, I look at your existing setup or QuickBooks account. Then I provide a quote within 24 hours. Once the quote is accepted, I send you a services agreement and a list of the banks and third-party systems I need access to.

As a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, I can offer QuickBooks Ledger for $10 a month, and I’d be happy to talk with you about your business and help you get it set up. You can always upgrade later. When you’re too busy to keep up with the bookkeeping yourself, that’s when I can take over.
In the meantime, separate your business and personal finances, and start learning how your financial reports interact with each other. It’s good to get that foundation.
